From 9 to 11 of September of 2008 took place in Bratislava the Meeting of Honorary Consuls of Slovakia. There are more than 70 Slovak diplomatic centres in the world but we have 140 Honorary Consuls and their labor is more important nowadays. Also three Spanish Consuls were received by Slovak authorities like President of the country Mr. Ivan Gasparovic, head of the Slovak Parliament Mr. Pavol Paska, Secretary of the Foreign Affairs Mr. Ján Kubis. The consuls in Spain are: Mr. Jean Paul Bastiaans - CH for Aragón and La Rioja, Mr. Joan Torredemer - CH in Barcelone and Mr. Francisco Perera in Santa Cruz de Tenerife (all in the foto with President Gasparovic).
